Steph is a mother to three beautiful young children, the middle of whom was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) and is the inspiration for this site.

A lover of  year-round iced coffee, car rides without a destination, red wine, Jodi Picoult novels, Bar Harbor, Maine, laughing and LazyOne pajamas, she’s a finance training manager by trade and a loving mother and wife. She’s committed to raising awareness for congenital heart disease through blogging, community outreach and helping to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital.

In 2018, Steph’s husband Alan, will be running the Boston Marathon for the Miles for Miracles team for Boston Children’s Hospital. Children from all over the world find hope and healing through 258 clinical programs—more expertise than any other pediatric hospital in the world.

More than 1,400 researchers find solutions others can’t through lifesaving discoveries that are shared with the world.
